Chimay Triple ( aka Cinq Cent )

Rich, spicy blonde triple, dry herbaceous finish. Brewed on the grounds of a Trappist Monastary (in the Ardennes Mtns). The hoppiest of their three offerings. Since 1862 the Cistercian Trappist monks of Chimay have been developing the production of Trappist beers (and cheeses!).

Delirium Tremens

THESE KEGS SUCK!  We will not serve this on draft until they bring it back in a real keg.  Changing to a disposable keg was the worst idea ever.

Monk's Cafe Flemish Sour Ale

Our own private label brewed for us by the family owned Van Steenberge brewery, just outside of Ghent, Belgium. Medium body, red color, somewhat fruity nose, malt flavor with a slight lactic sourness. A real thirst quencher and palate cleanser.

Lindemans Framboise
sweet, sparkling, raspberry infused lambic ale

La Rulles Estivale
A blonde ale made with the primary Orval yeast (not the brett) and three American hops - Amarillo, Cascade & Warrior. Arguably the best beer at this year's Zythos festival in Belgium. Great pilsner malt taste and citrus from the hops. Very, very drinkable. Excellent hot weather session ale. YUMMY!

Chouffe Houblon
described as a Dobbelen IPA Tripel, A unique marriage between the English tradition of IPAs, the new American revolution of Imperial IPAs and the classic Belgian way of brewing. Houblon Chouffe, although very much hopped as it is, showcases the unique balance between a very strong IPA and a very special Belgian Tripel exclusively created for this ale (Big malty body, distinct dryness, expressive estery fruitiness).

Jandrain-Jandreouille IV

Jean Hummler from Moeder Lambic - the best bar in Brussels - turned me on to this beer in 2009.  This is a really tiny brewery and I'm stunned that we can now serve this beer in Philly.  Thank you Dan Shelton for making those arrangements. Although this has a spicy character, they do not add any spices.  It all comes from the hops and yeast.  Very, Very good beer

Jandrain-Jandreouille V Cense

This is a bit darker and spicier than the IV.  Has a bit of caramel in the finish.  I'm psyched!

Unibroue Ephemere
Ephemere is a beer on lees with a light yellow to jade colour, aroma of green apples, light body, crisp finish, and not sweet! May be drunk as an aperitif.

Allagash White

Rob Tod's interpretation of a traditional Belgian wheat beer, Allagash White is brewed with a generous portion of wheat and a special blend of spices, this beer is light and slightly cloudy in appearance, with a spicy aroma. Overall, it is a beer that is very drinkable and smooth any time of the year.

Russian River Concecration
A brown ale aged in a Cabernet Sauvignon barrel (Silver Oak) for six months. Fresh currants added. You get the beer, the barrel, the wine and the fruit. This is one easy drinking beer, but be careful, it weighs in at 10%abv. This really rocks!

Bear Republic Racer 5
A multi-award winning, well-balanced IPA. Really nice, floral, hoppy nose. Good malt body and nice crisp, hoppy finish. Aromas of citrus from the Columbus & Cascade hops. I really like this beer!

Russian River Damnation
Vinnie's take on a Belgian golden ale.

Ommegang Zuur

They can call this a Flemish Sour Brown Ale because a portion of this excellent sour was brewed and aged at Liefman's.  Very tasty.
